No I don't know who it's going to be but it's not far off now.

First interviews at Headingley today with the final selection panel on the 21st of September.

Does the Chief Executives performance have any bearing on the clubs performance on the field do we think?

I've seen two names today as possible candidates: Sean Jarvis, Chief Exec at rock bottom club Leicestershire, and Rob Andrew, Chief Exec at next to rock bottom club Sussex, so I hope not.

Rob Andrew is the last person we want. He tried to reform rugby with franchises, and the clubs would have none of it.

Two useless CEs who are probably one step away from being sacked. Get shot of them.

Putting my cynical hat on for a moment I would judge that our carefully constructed 'hey look how we've changed' jigsaw might need a woman in there, just to tick a few more boxes.

On the whole I think I'd prefer a female CE, rather than a female Director of Cricket.

A non-white woman would probably suit some peoples agenda even more.

Whoever gets the job takes on a club that is split between those that believe every word AR said and those that are skeptical and want to see proof (and for some of us, resent Patel's sledgehammer approach which spoke of listening to all and in reality sacked anyone who even asked a question). Good luck!

I believe some of what Mr. Rafiq has said but I also believe he's been scraping the barrel to bring up things that other people , less 'poor me' have thought not worth sensationaling via PR organisations and pet organisations or journalists. Police have 'thrown out' some allegations.

As for Lord P, I also believe he wasn't our choice, was inflicted upon us with menaces, has not acted in the best interests of Yorkshire CCC or employees, is the only Chair of colour we've had (so far) but gives an impression of being Politically Correct.

PC = Anarchy with manners.

It's going to take someone far better than Lord P to win back trust. Someone who is a better communicator with members , the media and those employees who he is sacking. Someone who is visible and doesn't cancel an EGM for spurious reasons to avoid being held to account. Someone who is able to see all shades both in people and actions

Someone with the qualities of the late great Harry Gration
