Let's hope he is. If he's fake, then the friends and former teammates of the Sullivans and Wisniewsky are going to ask why. Looked at another way, it's a 'pathway', and one we should be opening, and keeping open, and widening...but not at the expense of closing the main road along which players have travelled for 150 years.

I was reading an article about Matthew Fisher yesterday, he has apparently bulked up with lots of gym work in order to become less injury prone.
I hope it's nothing serious but I notice he has bowled 9.4 overs for the Lions in their first game against a Sri Lankan team. Tom Abell completed the over for him.
I can't find any explanation, let's hope it's precautionary.

Ben Coad's loss of pace and zip seems to have coincided with his bulking up.
Pleased to see that whatever stopped Matt Fisher completing his over in the last game seems to have been precautionary. He is in the team and bowling for the England Lions against Sri Lanka A.
He's bowled 6 overs and got his wicket with his first ball, an early wicket seems to be his forte.

OK, 3 of the wickets were the tail but someone has to clean them up.
He came back on after 29 overs and by the 4th ball of the 35th he had taken 4 wickets in 4 overs.

Earlier this month a quartet of seam bowlers – Ben Cliff, Ben Coad, Ben Mike and Matthew Revis – travelled to Dubai for a specialist training camp.
Fin Bean, Harry Duke, George Hill, Will Luxton, Yash Vagadia and James Wharton are heading out to India for a similar batting camp.
And prior to the Cape Town tour, Dom Leech, Jack Shutt and Jonny Tattersall are due to train with Pakistan Super League side Lahore Qalandars.
I can only say - good! Then I wonder where the money is coming from ........ ?

Lovely talent, Yash. The next off the production line. No sign yet of any 2nd XI or Academy fixtures. I really hope I get to see more of both this coming summer.
