Graves was in charge when the whole Rafiq thing started, wasn't he?
It's almost like a protection racket slightly in reverse. "I'm gonna make you an offer I won't refuse. Oh and I don't want any payments.........Yet"Well if we need a money man......
I don't mind endorsing the TGT4P party but I reserve the right to jump on any Colin Graves bandwagon if push comes to shove and his money is our last hope.Graves was in charge when the whole Rafiq thing started, wasn't he?

Take these 3 points together and add in M'Lud's comment ... and be afraid, very afraid. It is like staring down a deep well where something less than pleasant lurks at the bottom ... something that has seen a ladder and wants to climb up it.
I hereby formally declare the Tanni G-T for President Party to be founded here. Come on Tanni!!
yes there is now a further £2m plus out of the club...and rumours of a declining membership....tricky very trickyI don't mind endorsing the TGT4P party but I reserve the right to jump on any Colin Graves bandwagon if push comes to shove and his money is our last hope.

1. Good point and I hope so in this case... well interim appointees are frequently appointed into permanent post ... vide Mr Gough
I'm not a coffee snob but they only sell instant coffee in the Long Room (or did last time I looked) I understand the proper coffee machine was taken by the players into the YCCC dressing room. I've no way of proving that howeverHead of Grounds could mean tending the rose bed in the Garden of Remembrance...or perhaps it's to do with coffee? We could do with some proper coffee, though I don't think I'll be allowed in the Long Room for my £185.
Perhaps the Australian 'curator' would be a suitable non-gender word, if they really do mean 'groundsman'. Can you have a curatrix?. As in dominator, dominatrix? Tricky language, English, and wonderfully non-pc.
